Remarks
- The Student rate applies to those registered for a MPhil or PhD degree (or equivalent). Student registration must be accompanied by a letter from your head of department or valid student ID card, attesting to your status. Please email the proof to wfdcjs@hku.hk . {Email title: Student’s Proof (First Name, Last Name) (example: Student’s Proof – (Tai-Man, CHAN)}
- The academic rate applies to those with a full-time position in a non-commercial institute.
- For Non-HKU members, you should REGISTER an account in the PAYMENT system first.
- As the system of Registration and Payment are separated, please USE the SAME email address for registration and payment settlement.

Registration Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy is strictly followed and all cancellations must be made in writing.
Cancellation before 50 days of the conference start date will receive a full refund, less a $150 towards administrative fee.
Cancellation between 49 and 21 days prior to the conference start date will receive 50 % refund.
Cancellations received below 20 days of the conference start date are non-refundable.
Refunds will be made within 28 days of receipt of cancellation notification.
Abstract Submission
All students and researchers are welcome to submit abstract before 16 Oct 2023.
All students and researchers who aged under 40 years old will be considered for the Young Investigator Award and have the opportunity to give an oral presentation during the symposium.
